The Psycho-Academic Tutoring Program is funded in thanks to The McKay Family Foundation and the Eugene Downtown Lions Club. The Psycho-Academic Tutoring Program provides one-to-one academic support for adjudicated youth involved with the Lane County Department of Youth Services. Tutors are trained in a strength-based, motivational interviewing techniques that enhance resiliency factors through identifying the youth's strengths and building upon them to increase the youth's perceived and actual academic achievement.
