Outpatient Substance Use Recovery
The Adult and Youth Recovery Programs address
the complex nature of substance use recovery. CFD recognizes recovery as a
process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness,
lead self-directed lives, and strive to reach their full potential. The
Recovery Program at CFD is built on access to evidence-based clinical treatment
and recovery support services for all populations. The services provided at CFD
include: individual and group therapy, family therapy, peer support, urine analysis, and collaboration with referring agencies.
All Adult Recovery Program clients must attend at least one group session per week.
Recovery Group is a psycho-educational,
skill-building, and processing group that provides information, skills, and tools
useful for successfully managing early abstinence and recovery. The group also
offers essential information and skill-sets necessary to establish early
recovery from abusive patterns of use.
Tuesdays or Thursdays: 11:00am-12:00pm or 6:00-7:0pm
The Women’s Recovery Group is for
women only and can be taken in place of the Group B. This group addresses
issues that arise for women in recovery. Topics covered include: relaxation,
family dynamics, trauma, abuse, healthy nutrition, communication, and positive
coping skills. This group also emphasizes building healthy and supportive
relationships with same-gender peers in recovery.
